An ugly crash of our integrated dictionary on Intel machines is fixed.
Line numbers now have a more decent design and they are much faster refreshed.
Line numbers for huge texts are now fixed.
All background tasks are much faster.
Fixed some drawing problems of the main window.
Optimized error reporting.

This release contains douzens of bug-fixes and cosmetical corrections. We are sorry that the documentation didn't made it into this release, but we are positive to finish this task in the next couple of days.

Please report any problem you have by using the "Report a Problem" function located in the "Help" menu of Texter! We are also happy about any comment and suggestion.

Here are the changes in more detail:
Find & Replace and all connected operations are now working much better. We made about 20 fixes in this area.
The statistics of the Info tool are now recalculated when you switch the number of characters per line.
We fixed the situation where Texter and Mail were using 100% cpu time for several minutes.
The drawing problem of combo boxes and several other GUI quirks are fixed.
Line numbers are now displayed correctly when you reopen a document or when you are using the History tool.
Better error handling for background tasks.

In addition we made some minor changes in the German translation.

There are three major bug fixes in the fifth beta release:

Short document names and titles sometimes became invisible when you switched between different documents.
Changes to document names, titles and comments were lost when you directly created a new document, folder or project without hitting return before.
It wasn't possible to rearrange documents, folders and projects in the browser (list view on the left).

There was a problem with version r104 causing Texter to display a German interface where it should be English.

A new beta release of Texter is available for download.

Beside many bug fixes and cosmetical patches the following changes and improvements are made:

A German user interface is automatically displayed on German systems. Independently of the user interface you can still switch the Texter dictionary to your prefered language.
The demo license is now automatically created when you want to evaluate Texter. You don't need to visit our web site anymore to order a demo license.
